"Our goal is developing biblical community."

The heart of God being manifest in a group of people.

Our Purpose

Our goal is developing biblical community; the heart of God being manifest in a group of people. That there would be a common unity among people that is generated through fellowship and open conversation, that enables all people to utilize their spiritual gifts, learned abilities, and personality to make significant contribution in partnership with others in the group.  This approach first builds hope through building community resulting in change or development to living conditions.

Who We Are

Until They Know, is a mission ministry active in “Community Development.” Community Development is a term that is often heard today and used to describe many different types of efforts. So, what are we speaking of by “Community Development”?

Beliefs

WHAT WE BELIEVE:

  • We believe that God is creator and sovereign ruler of the world and as such has established order in the world that brings honor and glory to him.
  • We believe in the Holy Trinity; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
  • We believe the Bible is God’s Holy Word; it is inerrant; it is inspired and imparted to men by God; and is intended for the instruction and transformation of all men.
  • We believe that the sin of man has distorted the order and thus dishonored God. So, God is his sovereignty, love, justice, and grace offers forgiveness through Christ that reconciles man to God and restores order and fellowship that honors God.
  • We believe in Jesus Christ, that He was God incarnate and the only means of salvation for mankind.  Jesus is the one and only true way to eternal life with God the Creator.
  • We believe that Jesus Christ was crucified, died and was buried.  On the third day there was an actual historic event and Christ rose from the dead.  Thus, He conquered death in order that those of us who follow Him will also conquer death and live eternally with Him.
  • We believe that it is God’s desire that all men be reconciled to Himself through Christ, and that this reconciliation brings order to all areas of life.
  • We believe that the church is the body of Christ (anyone who has professed faith in Christ) and not just an institution and that Christ prayed for and instructed the church to show His love to the world.
